In the past 8 months we have been selling the Bloggers Choice scarves in stores all over Europe. The three bloggers The Insider, Malsen & Delance Fashion has each chosen a Charity of their choice to support. The bloggers were asked to design their own scarf where 10% of the sales will be donated to the chosen Charity.
Yesterday it was finally time for The Insider to hand over the donation to the Charity of her choice – The Ronald McDonald House at Riget in Copenhagen. Rikke May (The Insider) brought along her daughter Bella to show her what organisation she had chosen to support and why it is so important. We met with Karen from The Ronald McDonald House and here Rikke May (The Insider) could hand over the donation of 10.000 DKK to the organisation. Along with the donation Kudibal also gave 2 bags of scarves for the children and their parents.

Why Rikke May (The Insider) chose to support the Ronald McDonald House and the idea behind the scarf
Charity: I have chosen to support the Ronald McDonald House. Last year I visited the house and was lucky enough to experience the difference these people make for the sick children and their parents that live there. Since then I have decided to take every opportunity I can to support the house and the work they do. While taking a guided tour of the house, I met a mother whose son was admitted to the hospital and the look in her eyes is imprinted onto my memory.
Inspiration: I have worked as a salesperson in the fashion industry for 10 years, which has given me with a lot of knowledge about what sells – even though sometimes it surprises you! I know what I want, and what I don’t want. When I saw the AW15 collection, I absolutely fell in love with the print I have chosen and even though I designed nearly 20 scarves, this print kept coming back to me. So I returned to my point of departure, changed it a little and made it my own.
